Behind the scenes in London...
In September, I was asked to arrange several carols for choir and orchestra - a treat in and of itself. But an invitation to be present for the recording and editing meant a trip to London and a chance to be in the room with some absolutely world class musicians!
In five weeks, music went from concept to ink, and I got to watch it come to life. There were a few missed accidentals, and a pickup measure that wasn’t supposed to be, but in the end, brilliant people were making art and it was amazing. One of those “whose life is this” moments.
Some singles will be released soon, and the broadcast is set to premiere December 4. Lots of info to come! In the meantime, below are a few pictures from my trip.
